This is a lovely location with a magnificent infrastructure. A horse stable, football ground and a connected history. Sometimes, the campus reminds of the aura people feel at Hogwarts in Harry Potter series. Rich library and ICSE AND ISC boards of Indian educational system. Splendid and exquisite!

When you want to witness the architectural grandeur of the British era, you must make a visit to the Constantia House. It is part of the renowned La Martiniere College, one of the premier educational institutions in the city. The building houses the tomb of Major Claude Martin, the French general who started its construction way back in 1785. Considered to be the largest European funerary monument in the country, the Constantia House exhibits an unusual mix of architectural styles. Timings: 08:00 am to 6:00 pm; every day Entry Fee: Free

It's a fabulous place. One side 'A grandeur mansion' which still showcases the beauty of gothic architecture well wrapped in time!! Other side 'An institution' which has been teaching its best education since last 176 years!! Honestly you will be able to witness both under one roof.

A hundred acres of land in the heart of Lucknow, maintained with love and care. If you are fortunate to meet the Principal, he will regale you with the history of the buildings and of his own ancestry. Mr. Mc Farland traces his family tree to a gang of horse thieves (that is what his family name translates to, in Scottish!). An interesting fact: this is the only school in the world to have been awarded royal battle honours for its role in the defence of Lucknow during the mutiny of 1857. Its a great school beautiful building very well maintained. Lots of activities happen. Saw beatiful horses there. Tourists are allowed till 5 pm
